A Bunch of Randomness

Some random pictures of the summer that haven't made it onto the blog until now...

After a long morning and afternoon of packing I sat down for a few minutes to take a little break.  Noah climbed up into my lap and we cuddled for a few minutes and, both of us exhausted, fell a sleep.  I love cuddling with my little guy!
Grandpa and Grandma Morgan sent us a package in the mail.  The boys didn't care about the contents of the package, but they sure had a fun time playing with the popcorn!
Sean & I had a "fun time" cleaning it up.  Then the popcorn worked perfectly to help pack up the model airplane that hangs in the boys' room!
Moving day!!!  This is the only photo I got that day.  Sean's work paid for Mayflower to move us!  It was such a blessing that we didn't have to have the extra expense of paying for a move!  *Note* Do you see how green our grass was and how pretty our hydrangeas were!  We miss it!  Let's just say the landscaping at our new place it not quite as picturesque!
When we first moved into our "church house" the yard looked more swamp like than anything else.  There was a big dip in the front where the old preacher's house used to reside.  When it rained it filled up with water making it impossible to cut the grass in the front yard!  I think the grass was about waist high, NO JOKE, before the landlord had the yard leveled out!
Huge loads of dirt were brought in to fill the hole and to level out the yard.  It looked like a big dirt hill in the front yard!  The boys were so excited to see all the "big trucks"!
All day they both watched out the windows as the dirt was moved around and spread out over the lawn!!!
Our beautiful dirt yard after they were done!  We can't wait for the grass to come in so we can go outside in the front and play!
A few weeks ago part of a tree in front yard split off!  Sean and I didn't even realize it had happened until he went out the door to go to work in the morning!
This tree was so BIG and TALL!!! We were seriously blessed that it fell away from the house and that we were all safe!  It could have easily taken out a good portion of the house and us with it! YIKES!!!
Noah being a helper and loading the dishwasher with me!  I'd give him a utensil and he would put it in the utensil holder on the side!
Ian and Noah, carrying toys together!  I love that they are starting to play more together!  We still have our fair share of squabbles over toys, but it melts my heart when I see them working and playing together like this!
Noah put himself in his chair one day.  When he couldn't get himself out, he came walking to me with his chair around him, saying, "Stuck!".  It was kind of sad, but at the same time I had to laugh seeing him waddle around with a chair around his waist!
We live only a couple of blocks away from the High School.  It's been fun to hear and see the marching band practice up and down the streets surrounding the school!  The first time they practiced they marched on the street at the end of our house.  The second time however they came down the street in front of the house!  The boys have loved it!  They were so excited to be able to hear and SEE the band!  And let's just say that dancing has now been done on our front porch!  So cute!  *Note* Do you like all the logs and the big stump in this picture?  It is the final remains of the big tree that had split.  The city came and took down the tree since it was old and rotted.  We're glad we don't have to worry anymore of it splitting off and potentially hitting the house!
