Perfect Pose

I know I haven't blogged for quite awhile.
This has basically been the scene at our house for the last few months.

(Left to Right... Me, Ian and Noah)
Although, the boys haven't really been sick...they've been sympathetic to me by pretending that they too are "sick".

I do have to say though that morning sickness this time around has been my worst yet.  I know in comparision to some I have it easy, but still it really sucks to be nauseous literally ALL DAY LONG.  I'm not a puker, so most days I would just lie on the couch wishing I could throw up.  There was one blessed day however when I did actually hurl, and although it was super nasty, I finally felt relief.   Since that day it seems as though I've been on an up swing.  Every day I feel a little less nauseous, am able to eat more of a variety, and have a bit more energy.  Thank goodness is all I have to say!!!

In more exciting news...

I had my first real Doctors appointment yesterday!
I say "real" because my last one was just with a nurse.  She went over my medical history and my insurance coverage with me.  Wow, talk about exciting!
However this time I was able to meet my Doctor, and had my physical exam.  Then the doctor told me that they like to do an early ultrasound to check on the size of the baby and to confirm the due date.  So, I was more than happy to get one done!

Here are the results of my ultrasound!

I am technically 11 weeks and 3 days along, but am measuring at 12 weeks.  The ultrasound tech said the doctor may or may not decide to change my due date.  (Right now due date is Oct. 9th) It could change to October 4th.
Baby was posing perfectly yesterday.  I must say I have never had such great ultrasound pics this early in my pregnancy before.  Normally I have struggled to even tell what the heck I've been looking at: head, shoulder, legs, etc.  But these first two were to so good!  I was thrilled!  I also got to hear the heartbeat at a healthy 159 beats per minute.

The most surprising part of my appointment happened when the tech started showing me these images!!!!

I am beyond amazed!  I have never seen 3D pictures of my babies before!
 Technology is truly phenomenal!

Proud mommy moment:
I was not the only one shocked by how good the images of my baby were!  The ultrasound tech actually asked me for permission and had me sign a waiver allowing these pictures to be released for the use of advertising and publicity of 3D ultrasounds.  She said she has never seen such perfect poses and pictures this early along!

Also, is it just me...or in these last two pictures does it look like Baby Morgan #3 is a boy!?!
I know your technically not supposed to be able to tell for sure until around 16-18 weeks...
BUT
...?...

YAY! Jessica, Congratulations! I'm excited for you guys! I think it could possibly be a boy! But I also think you need a girl to balance out your house! Time will tell!

We found out Link was a boy in a 12 week ultrasound, so I think it's possible! And, as you know, boys are the best! I am SO excited to have a third boy in our little family! I tell you what though the third boy is hard to name! I'm super excited for you guys (boy or girl!). Miss you!

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. It's gotta be tough taking care of two active little boys when you're not even feeling well enough to take care of yourself. I am glad it is improving, though.

Great ultrasound images! My sister-in-law found out her baby was a boy at 11 weeks. Maybe it was just a good guess, but they were right. I think yours might be a boy, too. But I have only had girl images, so what do I know?
