Ian turned 4 in December!
We had a fun Dino Party all planned for him.
Except a couple of days before his birthday he ended up getting sick! He came down with a runny nose, a cough, and then on his actual birthday, an ear infection! This kid was so congested that it was seriously coming out the ducts of his eyes, which we at first thought was pink eye. Luckily the prescription for his ear infection kicked in and all signs of eye yucky-ness went away overnight! PHEW!
We ended up rescheduling his party for a later date. Ian was so sad! But we didn't let the cruddies ruin the special day for him. Sean brought home McDonald's, (just what Ian wanted...but probably not the best choice for when your sick), we ate BIG cupcakes, (one of Ian's favorites), and opened presents. It wasn't the best birthday Ian's had thus far, (Who wants to be sick on their birthday?), but we made it up to him with a SUPER FUN birthday party after he was all better!
