What a FUN FILLED weekend! Easter brought alot of fun and treats to our home this year! It all started on Saturday morning when we received a way fun package from Grandma Haynes! We felt so spoiled!
Look at the cute bags she made for the boys!
The bags were filled with toys and goodies...
the windmills were a hit with Ian and Noah!
YUMMMMY...
who can go wrong with candy!
Thank you Grandma for such fun Easter treats! Also, this year for Easter, I really wanted to do an Easter egg hunt with the kids. I looked and asked around, but to my dismay there were no egg hunts going on. Then another dental wife in our year suggested that we just plan our own! YEAH! So of course, that it just what we did! Later that Saturday afternoon we headed out for an Easter egg adventure! It ended up being a bit cold and windy, but thanks everyone for braving it out! It was so much FUN! All the kids had a really great time! Here are some pics of our boy'o's at the egg hunt:
Noah and Ian before the hunt.
Ian waiting excitedly at the starting line!
Looking and looking...
Ah Yeah! Jackpot! Three eggs in row!
Ian's buddy, Evan, checking out the Easter goods!
This was Noah's first year to go on an egg hunt! Last year he was only a week old at Easter! Can you believe it?!? Man, TIME FLIES! We put Noah down in the grass right in front of an egg to be sure he would see it! He did NOT like the grass, hence the face!
Oh, but what is this?
An Easter egg! Yoohoo!
I know just where this goes...
in the basket!
Better taste it to make sure it's ok!
PS. Don't you just love his sweater! He got it for a birthday present! Thanks Uncle Kevbo!Noah and Ian enjoying tasty treats after the egg hunt!
Just look at that stash!
CHOCOLATE! This is sooooo good!
After their little tummies were full of Easter candy it was time to play! Look at all these munchkins lined up on the see-saw! Have you ever seen a cuter group of kids?
On Sunday morning we got a visit from the Easter Bunny!
The boys got even more treats and toys! These kids were in heaven!
Our oh so cute Noah, looking at his toy!
Ian was VERY excited about his new DINOSAUR PUZZLE!
He loves dinosaurs! In his own words, "Their my favorite!"
We were lucky enough to be able to take some cute pictures of the boys all dressed up in their new Easter outifts! (We took these pictures after church! I am so impressed that they stayed clean enough for pictures!!!...That usually doesn't happen with boys!)
Our handsome Ian!
Oh what a little man he's becoming!
Our ever smiling Noah!

Our two boys together!
They sure do love each other!
Just look at those cute smiles!
And those baby blues! What a couple of goodlookin' boys!
After church our good friends, Zac and Kim Campano, came over for Easter dinner! It was so fun to have them over for a holiday! We enjoyed yummy food, good conversation, and a little story reading. The boys both love Zac and Kim! Look at the boys making themselves at home next to them! So CUTE!
And what was the story of the evening you ask?
Why it was Zack's Potty!(he he) We thought it was too funny that Zac was reading the boys a book called Zack's Potty!
Thanks Mom for the fun book! And thanks Zac and Kim for coming over for dinner! We had a great time!
We really did have a GREAT Easter weekend! It was full of alot of fun with good friends, food, and treats. However, the highlight of my weekend came on Sunday while at church. The spirit was so strong that day! I feel as if I was literally fed all day! We had wonderful and amazing talks! The Edwards testified so strongly of our Savior! And then since I'm in the primary, I had the opportunity this year to teach sharing time on Easter! I love the primary kids, even though they are challenging sometimes. I think what made it even more special is that Ian is in Sunbeams! I not only got to teach him about the true meaning of Easter at home, but in church as well! It was really neat to be able to be in the primary and to be able to teach all of the kids about our Savior, and about His Resurrection. I am so grateful for our Savior and for His Atonement and sacrifice for me. I am grateful for the events that took place in the Garden of Gethsemane. I grateful that my Savior has taken upon himself all of my sins, my mistakes, my heartaches, my pains, and that if I come unto Him that I can be cleansed, healed and made whole through His great sacrifice. I LOVE my Savior with all of my heart. I am grateful for His Resurrection and the knowledge that through Him I will one day be able to be resurrected as well, that my family will be resurrected and that I will be able to live with them for all of eternity. I know that my Savior LIVES! I know that He loves me. I am grateful and humbled for that love.
