Very, Very late posting of...Christmas Break

For Christmas Break we had the opportunity to go to Washington to visit both sides of our family! We were so excited! Some highlights from our trip include:
  • Ian and Noah getting to see Great Grandma Morgan when we arrived at the airport! This was the first time Noah got to meet her!

  • Seeing Sean's brother Brian get married to a wonderful and beautiful girl, Aly, in the Seattle Temple!

  • Sean and I celebrating our 6 year Anniversary the very next day after his brother's wedding...let just say that the whole day of their wedding felt like we were reliving our own, but this time as spectators...they were even married in the same temple we were! It was so special to rehear the words of the temple ceremony so close to our own special day!

  • Hanging out with Sean's brother Grant, his wife Linh, and Ian & Noah's cousin, Dash!

  • Eating Pho and Spring Rolls with Grant, Linh and Dash. I WAS IN HEAVEN!!! YUM YUM!
  • Going out for yummy BBQ at Famous Daves...they served dinner on the lid of a trash can!
  • A Date Night with my hubby! YEAH!! Thank you Mom and Dad Morgan for babysitting!
  • Ian and Noah getting to see a very fun and cool train exhibit!

  • Three generations of Morgan Men at Cabela's! Grandpa Morgan, Sean, Ian, and Noah. Grandpa Morgan was in heaven!
  • Ian feeding the fish at Grandma and Grandpa Morgan's! We now have a little fish bowl of our own!

  • Washington and it's buckets of snow! Sean was out shoveling the snow it seemed almost every day for week!

  • Christmas baking, projects and hanging out with my family while being snowed in!

  • Getting to see my sister Jennifer, her husband John, and kiddos Alyssa and Tyler. Ian had so much fun playing with these two that even now after being home a couple of weeks is still talking about playing with them. On the way home from church on Sunday he said he didn't want to go home, he wanted to go to Alyssa and Tyler's house! Oh, if only it were that easy!

  • Christmas Day!!! Noah had his 1st Christmas! Both boys were very cute opening presents! The best part of it all though was the time we were able to spend with both our families!

  • A FOUR HOUR photo shoot at Olan Mills with Sean's family...but we do have family pictures now of all of us! Hopefully we will get them soon! :)

  • Doing Flight of the Bumble Bee to decorate the Relief Society Room for Brian & Aly's Open House! hehe! (Their Open House was supposed to be at a family friend's home, but due to the amount of snow, the home was inaccessable...even after hours of snow shoveling to try to clear the roads!)
  • The Haynes Family Christmas Celebration at Brian(my brother) & Kathy's house! Highlights included: Yummy food, present opening, the kiddos playing together, a very big family picture, and GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR! Guitar Hero was a hit for everyone! I will never forget singing "Livin On A Prayer" with all 5 of my siblings very loudly in unison!

  • My brother Kevin took some video footage of Sean balancing Noah, if you want to check it out...follow the link!

  • An all day packing session trying to arrange everything we received in our 4 bags! Yikes! But we did fit it all! And I'm happy to say nothing broke either, even the large serving platter and water vase! Yeah!
  • Vegging out the rest of our trip after we got home, because we had an overnight flight and were getting used to a three hour time difference.

It was so much fun to be home for Christmas and being able to see all our family! We love you and miss all so much already!
